Full Circle with Peanuts: My First and Latest Moleskine Diary

There’s something magical about starting a fresh planner. The blank pages, the smooth cover, the promise of a whole year waiting to be lived. For 2026, I chose a Moleskine diary in bright orange, with the whimsical charm of the Peanuts characters on the cover. It feels playful yet bold — a diary that dares me to dream big while reminding me not to take life too seriously.

And then it struck me: ten years ago, almost to the day, my very first Moleskine was also Peanuts. It was 2016, the year I left Bahrain and moved all the way to Maui — a huge life change, filled with uncertainty, excitement, and bold beginnings. That diary was red, fiery and strong, echoing the courage I needed to step into the unknown.

Looking back, I see how the colors tell their own story:

  • Red (2016): strength, courage, determination. The color of big leaps and brave choices.
  • Orange (2026): creativity, warmth, joy. The shade of self-expression and radiant energy.

Peanuts has been the thread connecting these two chapters of my life — a reminder that even in serious times of change, a little humor and playfulness can carry us through.

As I wait to begin writing in my orange 2026 diary, I feel a sense of continuity. My notebooks and planners aren’t just tools; they’re companions, silent witnesses of growth, resilience, and reinvention. Ten years apart, two Peanuts Moleskines sit on my shelf — one marking a leap into the unknown, the other welcoming a new chapter full of creative fire.

Sometimes, life really does come full circle — with a touch of Snoopy’s charm to keep us smiling along the way.

If you want to gift a Snoopy diary to someone, don’t forget to accompany it with the proper greeting card:

Snoopy has always been more than a cartoon to me, a reminder to stay imaginative, independent, and quietly confident, no matter what’s happening around. He’s the kind of character who never really ages; he just adapts. Maybe that’s why he still feels so relevant today. Do you have a favorite Peanuts moment or character that’s followed you through the years?
