Chasing Rainbows

Here I am after a long time. After a long journey. After lots of thinking. The beginning of a new adventure.

I said goodbye to Bahrain. I won’t miss the Kingdom as I am in Paradise. But I will certainly miss my friends there.  I already do.

And where exactly am I? What am I doing?

Far, far away. In the middle of the Pacific Ocean. But so close to the House of the Sun.

Living the life the way it should be. Simple.

Chasing Rainbows after the storm on Maui. Enjoying my every ride to and from home. Filling my lungs with oxygen and my heart with joy. Bathing in sun and salty water. Sipping sunsets and nature’s little wonders. Stargazing. Gulping the love of the Creator.

I’m settled but yet I’m not. I will be here to tell you all about it.

Love you all,

xxx

Evie

Playing in Nature

Where houses are abandoned, nature takes over and paints the town in summer’s golden hues. It’s time for reflection, time to love and feel loved, time to reunite with mother nature.

This is roughly the idea behind Maria Galati’s photoshoot who chose Zoe Manousaridou as her model to capture the sense of freedom one experiences when in interaction with nature. An actress, art director and manager of emerging music bands, Maria Galati wanted to simply express her idea through her lens and Zoe’s gypsy soul and country style channeled and delivered the message. Nature played her part too. Enjoy!

Art Director/Photographer/Creative Photo Idea: Maria Galati

Oman : a photo gallery

I’m back from our short trip to Oman and although I have a hectic schedule these days I still feel like sharing some photos with you as I believe a picture is worth a million words. Some of these photos you may also find on my Instagram account: idolimages

We had a great stay at Shangri-La Al Husn Hotel. Then we were taken fishing. We caught nothing more than footage in our cameras (editing project number 24 on my to-do list? bear with me please!) but we loved exploring the beaches.

Our host saved the best for last: The revelation: The road trip to Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain), high up to 2,400 mtrs. And we were left speechless!

That’s all for now and we are certainly going back to explore more of Oman’s beauty.
Oh! And I shouldn’t forget: a special thanks to my “panoramic view” photographer and of course to our host! (They know who they are!) xxxx

Lightning Show

Last night I spent an hour watching the lightning storm that hit Bahrain unexpectedly. I managed to capture some nice photos with my Iphone 4 which I share with you. Isn’t nature the greatest performer of all?
