Ring Collection

Hello girlies,

I have bought few rings recently and thought of posting a picture, along with some of my old purchases.

I love big rings in all shapes, design & colour. And I wear a lot of rings day to day basis. Accessories instantly update and make my outfits more interesting.

Most of these rings are fromImage, H&M, Penny’s, Mango, Topshop and few of them are from street markets of Ibiza.

I have a small collection of silver rings. Will post a picture for you later on.

I have been using Urban Decay Primer Potions for few months and thought of doing a review for you guys. I purchased them from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in Ireland, while I was there on holiday.

 I think this is an ideal for skin that need moisture, it feel wet when you apply it to your face. When it dries out, it feels sticky, but I think you need that to keep your foundation/make up staying on and last longer. 

 Eyeshadow Primer Potion

This is a favourite among  beauty gurus and bloggers, if you have ever watched makeup videos on YouTube or check out beauty blogs frequently, chances are that you have heard about “Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion” quite often.

For all you divas who loves to wear eye shadow, primer is a necessity. This primer evens out the colour of your eyelids, prevents creasing and helps eye shadow stay on longer. The only thing is, it makes the eye shadow stick so well, blending anything becomes a nightmare. So I personally use this primer when I use a single colour on my lids, and then add some eye liner.

Make your handbag more fun & color full……

I purchased this arm candy from Oasis and thought it would be the perfect size to take with me on the aircraft when I go on my holidays. It will hold most of the things that I’d need on the aircraft, ie; my makeup, skin care, phone, a magazine, shawl etc etc. It also got a long handle and I could wear it across my body. Perfect…..

To make my new bags more fun, I tied a scarf (both are from Accessorize) around it. I bought the tan colour as it would go with most colours.

Springsheen for Summer …..

Hello girls,

I  have planned my summer holidays to the beautiful Balearic Island of Ibiza.  Here are few things I bought recently for my trip. I put an out- fit idea, which I’ll be wearing to hang out at my favourite place, Blue Marlin, Ibiza with my hubby.

DSC04248I’ll be dressing up this beautiful  (1)  kimono style top from Miss Selfridges over my bikini with these stunning (2) statement necklace I bought from Stradivarius. And pair it up with these (3) snakeskin wedges from New look. As for makeup it’ll be a bit of (4) Maybelline BB cream in Universal glow over (5) Mac Prep + Prime SPF 50 (6) MAC Spring Sheen Blush and (7) Bobbi Brown Nectar Brightening Lip gloss.

Mac Springsheen Blush –  It’s got the most gorgeous Peachy colour. It’s a sheertone shimmer blush, which is perfect for day time.  As it’s  got a gold (with a hint of pearl) finish to it, it works as a highlighter as well. A very subtle summary colour and one of those blushes that gives you a fresh look. If I use it for a night out I would combine it with another blush just to make the colour pop.

Statement Necklace – Look at this beautiful, beautiful statement necklace (was on for a bargain @ sale). I love the colour turquoise, as it goes with most of my clothes in the wardrobe and can be worn  in so many different ways, ie; with my LBD,  jeans with a simple t-shirt etc etc.

Blue Marlin, Ibiza – It may not be the place for everyone, but I absolutely love everything about this place. The music, the people, food, the beach etc etc. It’s such an amazing place that instantly makes me happy.  I will be posting some photos for you when I am there.  http://www.bluemarlinibiza.com

Bio-Oil it away!!!!

As a result of having my 3 gorgeous babies, my tummy was left with some stretch marks, which I was very conscious of.

Though Bio-Oil  has been in the market since 2002 and  I had heard about it, I only bought it few years ago while I was on holiday in Dublin, during one of my many shopping trips to Pavilion Shopping Centre in Swords.

I tried it and it made my skin feel soft. I have been using it for few years now and my stretch marks have definitely started to look  better.

I am totally smitten

Body Shop Body Butter

pic3  Keep the skin super soft, nourish and protect while moisturizing 24 hrs. Body Butter is very thick to touch and I think it is very luxurious. The cream has a quite a sheen to it when apply. Comes in sumptuous 22 different flavours (as mentioned on Body Shop website). They smell divine, while providing  natural fragrance for the skin.

I have tried a few different flavours and the fragrance stay on your body for a long time. Each product  contains shea butter and cocoa butter. Cocoa butter works as a moisturizer and melts at body temperature, which leaves the skin feeling soft and silky smooth.

 Body Butter is full of skin beneficial ingredients, which are source through The Body Shop Community Fair Trade Programme.

All my Bahrain Divas would remember the old Sheraton Hotel shopping complex. I bought my first Papaya Body Butter in the Body Shop there a very long 13 years ago.  And yes I have known Body Butter lot longer than I have known my husband.

To get that youthful, dewy complexion, you need a great highlighter that fit your skin. Here is my favourite girls;

I am a big fan of Bobbi’s make up line. Though her makeup line is a bit more expensive than some other brands, she offers a fantastic range with lot of natural colours like browns, golds and nudes, which suits most skin tones.

My favourite of the Bobbi Brown range is Bronze Shimmer Brick Compact. Added bonus of this product is instead of just being one colour, it features five different colours in a slightly different shade to each other, so when you apply it to your skin, it gives you the most amazing glow with a hint of sparkle. I use this as an Eye Shadow Palette as well as a Bronzer.  Gives you a deep, bronzy glow, and neutral and deep blush shades works well with Bronze Shimmer Brick.

 It also comes in different shades; Pink Quartz, Nectar, Rose, Beige and 24-Karat.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative; Body Shop’s Shimmer Waves (comes in 2 different shades) is equally good.

 Nothing lights up your face like shimmer.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

The Secret to Gorgeous Hands!!

Without a doubt the best hand cream I have used. I say this without any hesitation having tried many hand creams. As I have been pic 1using this product for over four years, I think I can speak honestly about it. I have occasionally wandered to other brands but I always seem to go back to this one.

A super-smoothing cream, contains 20% Shea Butter, honey and sweet almond extract, blended with jasmine and ylang-ylang essences. Smells divine and it glides on and absorbs to help heal and protect dry and dehydrated skin, and anti-oxidising vitamin E helps nourish.

I initially bought the small tube of this while transiting through Dubai Airport (they also do large tubes) so that I could try it. And I love it! The tube is just the right size to carry in my bag so that I can use it whenever I need to and you don’t need to use very much of it. L’occitane is a well known luxury brand and have a great reputation for their creams and moisturisers.

Anyone who suffers with dry hands should give this a try!
